19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden title for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a difficult year, managing just a single victory at the major tournaments and suffering a difficult moment at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his service game in especial - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately parting ways with former mentor his previous coach.
Currently collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, he has consistently improved in the last few weeks - culminating in a hard-fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over challenger Corentin Moutet.
This marks the player's initial championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court from March of 2023.
Victory also indicates he has won 21 titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a event with my two daughters together, so to secure a title is particularly special," stated world number 14 the champion.
"This victory is in tribute of my second daughter my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had failed in his last six championship matches, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive approach and recurring emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted some to question if his skill to compete at the top level was concluded.
However the 29-year-old has made changes in the last few weeks, making an effort to advance forward and compete aggressively, supported by an improved service.
The champion came back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, taking four of the last five points to gain the advantage.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden ATP Tour victory, gained dominance to force a third set.
Moutet saved 4 early break points in a tight final set before the champion won the break to that score to serve for the match.
Suitably, he secured the title with a point at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
