I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
